General: We care about our goats very much, and it's important to us that they go to homes that are a good match for them. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a sale for any reason. No single goats! Goats are herd animals, and should never be kept alone. We will not sell a single goat if you do not already own goats.
Our goats are registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association (MDGA). Adult goats will come with their MDGA paperwork needed to transfer the goat to your name, kids will come with an MDGA registration application. Only wethers are sold without registration papers/applications.
Our herd health is important to us. We practice biosecurity, and test our breeding animals for CL, CAE, and Johnes (kids are too young to be tested for these). Any additional testing will be done at the buyers expense. We do not vaccinate our goats. Our kids are dam raised whenever possible (no bottle babies except in emergent circumstances). Kids that aren't polled are disbudded to prevent horn growth. We can't guarantee that scurs will not grow after disbudding. We will never sell a goat that we believe to be unhealthy, but can't guarantee health once they leave our farm. Once a goat leaves our care, we will not be held liable for any veterinary fees incurred. We will not issue refunds for any reason.
Availability: Kids are available after they are weaned at approximately 12 weeks of age. If you would like to get on our waitlist, send us a message. There is no deposit required to get on the waitlist. Interested parties are notified once kids are born in the order they are placed on the list. If we do not hear back from you after 48 hours, we will move onto the next person on the list.
Once kids are born, a non-refundable deposit of $100 per kid is required to place a reservation on the kid. Once the kid is weaned and ready for pick up, the buyer will have up to 14 days to pick up. If the buyer does not pick up the goat within the timeframe, the reservation will be cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded, and the goat will be made available for sale.
Pricing: No goats will leave the farm until paid for in full. Wethers are $150 each. Bucklings and doelings range from $350 to $500. Discounts are available if buying multiples. Pricing is firm and non-negotiable.
